Security Training

Synterra would like to invite Lac Seul First Nation Community Members interested in a career in Security, our online training free of charge.

This course includes:

• Introduction to the Security Industry
• The Private Security & Investigative Services Act and Ministry Code of Conduct
• Basic Security Procedures
• Health & Safety
• Emergency Response Preparation
• Canadian Legal System
• Legal Authorities
• Effective Communications
• Sensitivity Training
• Use of Force Theory

This online course is lead by a Professionally Trained Instructor and it concentrates on the mandatory points in the Ministry ’s Training Modules to enable the candidate to write the Provincial Mandatory exam to obtain the individual Security License
When the course is completed, we will have you fill out a consent form and will need a copy of your first aid certificate.
If you do not have a valid First Aid Certificate you can obtain this online through : https://www.simplecpr.com
We will then submit those two documents to the Ministry in order to get your completion number. That number allows you to book your ministry exam.
