OAOM FallWinter 2024 Update
Chief and Council are announcing two new positive COVID-19 cases within the community. Lac Seul First Nation has a total of 11 confirmed cases of COVID-19. We are continuing to look for people of who may have come in contact with those who have tested positive.
To ALL community members, a reminder that as of today Lac Seul First Nation is under a Code Red Lockdown order. This means you must stay home and not visit other homes. You can only leave your house for essential reasons such as, medical appointments, to get groceries, or land-based activities with only those from your own household (walking/hiking, hunting, bike rides, etc.)
If you test positive or have come in contact with someone who has tested positive you must self-isolate. Self-isolation means staying at home at all times. If you are told you must self-isolate then you cannot leave your house for any reason, this includes running to the store or giving someone a ride.
You can arrange for a COVID-19 test on weekdays at the:
Kejick Bay clinic (582-9812)
Frenchman’s Head clinic (582-3512)
Whitefish Bay clinic (582-3293)
OR the Meno-Ya-Win Emergency Department on weekends.
Please stay home and keep us all safe.
