1 Community Support Worker & 1 Multi-purpose Worker

Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Choose Life Manager, the one Community Support Worker and one Multi-purpose Worker will promote healthy out on the land/culturally based activities and sports activities to the children and youth of Lac Seul First Nation. The Choose Life Community Support Worker & Multi-purpose Worker will assist with planning of activities on a weekly basis and other programming needs. The Choose Life Community Support Worker and Multi-purpose Worker will be required to work evenings and occasional weekends.

Qualifications:

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of work experience in a related field is preferred
• Familiar with computer software programs, example, Microsoft Word/Excel
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License and be available to travel between communities
• Must have excellent oral and written skills
• Be willing to provide a criminal reference check and a vulnerable sector check

Location: Lac Seul First Nation.

Term: Full-time position

Hours: Evenings and Occasional Weekends

Closing: Open Until Filled
