COVID19 Update from Chief and Council Dec.10th, 2020

December 10, 2020

Please be advised that effective immediately, we are returning to Level Yellow on the LSFN Alert Level System.

The individual who tested positive is doing well and is currently isolating in Sioux Lookout. Their close contacts have all been tested for COVID-19 and all of those tests came back negative. These close contact individuals are isolating and are being monitored by health staff.

Effective Friday, December 11, schools will be opening for in-school learning. Please consult your schedule to see which groups will be attending school on Friday. Band staff will return to the office on Monday, December 14.

All visitor requests will be reviewed on Friday, December 11 at 12pm. All requests must be submitted in writing to requests@lacseulfn.org. Please state the names of everyone in your group, which community you are visiting, the dates of your visit, and whether you have been to a hotspot in the past 14 days or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

We remind you to be cautious and to stay within your social bubble. Wear a mask, maintain good hand hygiene, and stay at home as much as possible. COVID-19 testing is available at the Frenchman’s Head and Kejick Bay clinics.
