Community Notice

Chief and Council are announcing the following changes to the current restrictions in place:

June 2, 2021 All of Lac Seul will move to code yellow. School and work will return on this date as well.
May 28, 2021 Kejick Bay restrictions and the checkpoint at the causeway will end at 12:01A.M.
May 28, 2021 Travel restrictions to Thunder Bay and Kenora will be lifted due to low COVID-19 numbers in the areas.
June 21, 2021 If the community numbers remain low by this date, all of Lac Seul will move to code green.

As a community we were able to work together to lower COVID-19 numbers and see positive change. Even though the restrictions within the community are loosening, it is extremely important to remain vigilant and continue to wear a mask in all public spaces, wash your hands regularly, and practice physical distancing.
