Casual Position     Location: Sioux Lookout, ON

Starting Salary Rate: 19.570 per hour

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Team Leader to meet the Dietary, Laundry and Housekeeping needs of the hostel

 Who can apply: Persons of First Nations ancestry will be given preference (s.16 (1) CHRA)

Applicants must possess:

• Currently enrolled and actively competing their OSSD
• Minimum of 1-year work experience
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions

 Knowledge and Ability:

• Clean and maintain dining area
• To provide friendly professional customer service to clients of SLFNHA
• Daily cleaning of client rooms and general cleaning of the SLFNHA hostel
• Load washers and dryers and pre-sort laundry
• Fold linen, blankets and towels and stock carts and linen cupboards
• Follow directions from senior staff and Team Leaders
• Complete all training required for the position including but not limited to on-the-job and online training
• Must understand separate job descriptions for each of the departments
